Singapore Startup Drinks

We’re nearing the end of ‘08 and what better way to start the new year than meeting new people and getting drunk? (ok, not too drunk…) Since it’s the new year and all, we’ve decided to do things differently this year. So instead of just drinks this time round, we’re gonna do dinner as well! And what better place to do it than at Lau Pa Sat? Same rules apply (all going dutch, bring lotsa namecards and smiles, etc) and same place to RSVP.

Thanks to everyone who made it last week! Speical thanks to Ridz, my co-organiser and Ice Cold B’s of Emerald Hill Group, our venue host. So what is Startup Drinks?

a) A drinking group with a startup problem.
b) A low key, unstructured group drinking (coffee, beer or spirits) event that happens in cities across the world
c) Therapy for startup junkies (you don’t have two days to go to a conference, but you do have two hours and would love to stay involved in the community)
